TENSION SPRINGS

Tension springs are tightly wound coils that are designed to operate with tension. The spring stretches to a specific length as the load/force is applied to it. In an unloaded position, the loops of the spring are touching, with either a loop or hook attached at one end, and it is when this attachment is directed with force that the spring stretches. When these components are pulled apart, usually from either side, the spring tries to hold itself together, causing the springing action, until the force is stopped and it can return to its original form.

CONICAL SPRINGS

The different types of conical springs are Conical Compression and Extension Springs.

Conical Springs are used in Push buttons, Battery conductors, Electrical and electronics Products.

Conical Compression Springs :

Conical compression springs are springs that have large diameters that cone down to smaller diameters.

Also known as tapered compression springs, these springs provide a near constant rate and, because of their ability to telescope, can provide a lower solid height than a normal compression springs.

Conical Extension Springs :

Conical extension springs are designed and manufactured by coning down the last few coils then forming the hooks on these reduced ends. The main purpose of this type of spring is to decrease the stresses in the hooks, thus avoiding breakage.

Another advantage of this type of spring is the ability to create swivel hook extension springs, which are manufactured with separate “S” hooks that are inserted inside the reduced ends.

These types of hooks enable free movement to ensure the correct alignment for the application. In larger wire diameter extension springs where loads can be significant, the ends may be coned down in order to fit in plugs or even large eyebolts.

STAMPING PARTS

Metal stamping is a system of processes focusing on sheet metal manufacturing.
